Freexminds: A Blend Of Arabian And Western Cultures

Freexminds have come a long way since Abdulla Buhendi discussed it with a friend in a metro station in Montreal, Canada.

“Free Minds Clothing is an Arabian streetwear brand,” said Abdulla. “The whole idea of freexminds is to see how the urban and Westernized fashion would look like if it was heavily influenced by Arabian culture.”

What started during his last two years in the university is now a full blown business. “The brand is all about adapting today’s trends and constantly showing the world how the Arabian culture can blend and complement the urban pop culture.”

“Initially, the biggest challenge was balancing my university studies with my work life,” said Abdulla. “I also had to learn everything from scratch with the online store, website, product design, etc.”

“For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to own a number of businesses,” narrated Abdulla. “What influenced me to start Free Minds Clothing is finding an opportunity in the market because the idea, at the moment, did not exist.”
