We asked Mohammed what makes Muharraqi Design exceptional from the rest of the creative agencies in Bahrain, and they didn’t disappoint. “Many creative agencies claim that they think outside the box, but we are the only ones who proudly think inside the box! As we ensure giving our client the solution that is compatible with their brand after connecting all the dots.” Unique answer, right?
Muharraqi Design is named after the city, and that’s a very deliberate, conscious choice and the reason for it is simply how much Muharraq inspires them. “The reason behind choosing this name is to disseminate Muharraq’s culture through our work to the world! We strongly believe culture is spread from one person to another, and we love to express it through the projects we work on.” They shared.
The city’s history (particularly the old souq), culture and calligraphy is more than just part of their identity, they also pose as a symbol of muse for them.
With 16 years of experience in the market, the founders have observed so many trends introduced to the market of graphic design. “We have noticed that there are more followers than leaders on the scene. Numerous businesses are content with stepping in the same path of a successful business.”
The reality of some designs turning into cliches because they’re repeated and overused suggests the lack of creativity, while some trends can completely miss the mark and add nothing to the value of the business, in terms of capturing the essence of their identity or marketing the product.

When asked about their methods to approaching their projects, they answered with: “A mix of structured and spontaneous, nevertheless, there are certain stages we go through in each project from brainstorming, searching, sketching, and trying hundreds of versions, but we still believe in eureka moments!” Don’t they seem like the most fun team ever?
