This Startup Mornings, we are very excited to have Bassam Jalgha as our guest speaker. Bassam is a Lebanese entrepreneur who co-founded ‘Band Industries’ and officially launched “Roadie”, an advanced automated tuning device for string musical instruments.
“Roadie” was launched on KickStarter and they were able to raise about $180,000 for Roadie pre-orders. Bassam talked about his experience from concept development to funding and manufacturing. Bassam is also a previous participant in the MITEF Arab Startup Competition.
We are also excited to have Joelle Yazbeck, Managing Director at MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab to present MITEF Arab Startup Competition in partnership with Zain and ALJ Community Initiatives where she invited all entrepreneurs in Bahrain to apply for the regional competition and benefit from prime mentorship among other attractive rewards.
