4 Things Every Bahrain Entrepreneur Should Learn from Tech Entrepreneur Pep Gómez

Few people in their lifetimes have seen as much success as has Pep Gomez in his first twenty years. He is one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs in the world, and his continued commitment to his companies and projects shows promise for this young man. How can such a young man achieve such great success? There is obviously something special about Pep Gomez. Here are three keys to early success that Pep Gomez has followed.

1. He learns from mistakes.

Remember that Pep Gomez is a barely out of his teenage years. He, like every other teenager, has made and is going to make mistakes. What separates Pep from his peers is the fact that he can learn from his mistakes. Pep launched his first company when he was just fifteen. It was a blog network designed for teenagers. His second start-up Redondea raised one hundred thousand dollars in its first couple of years, but that wasn’t enough to keep the company afloat. The company failed in November of 2010. This failure didn’t keep Pep from pursuing more entrepreneurial endeavors. Just about a year later, in September of 2011, Pep launched his current startup – Fever – a nightlife and event app marketed towards young adults.

2. He pursues his passions.

Pep’s most successful startup to date is his current one – Fever. It’s an app made for young people, that helps them figure out the best events and syncs up events according to a person’s preferences. One of the most important entrepreneurial tactics is to pursue what you love. This holds true for any business venture. If you do what you are passionate about, you’ll be more excited to put your time and money into that project. Pep is a young man who enjoys nightlife, extreme sports, and changing the world. Fever helps him pursue these interests in a way that makes business sense.

3. Pep knows his place.

Pep spends his time between Madrid and New York City. These two cities are two of the biggest spots for young peoples’ nightlife and events in the world. It is obviously a benefit to his startup, Fever, that Pep is spending his time in these social hubs. Pep literally knows the best locations in the world for his business. But more than knowing where in the world to be, Pep knows his place as an individual on the entrepreneurial totem pole. Mr. Gomez understands his talents, and knows where he needs help. Pep is not afraid to call upon passionate programmers and marketers to join him in building Fever.

Pep is able to identify what he needs to move forward in business; he sees the road to success in front of him, as well as the world and people around him. Pep focuses on his own talents. He has spoken at more than 150 conferences worldwide, lending his expertise to everyone from layman to successful business people. This sense of knowing his place keeps Pep humble, confident, and realistic.

Pep has an extremely mature sense of the world for such a young man. So, while it is astounding that he is so successful at just twenty years old – it is not surprising for Pep. His keys to life apply not only to himself and his business market, but also to any person and any business. If you understand these three keys you can start on your path to success too.
