Zain Bahrain Partners With BCCI to Support SMEs

Zain to offer exclusive telecom benefits through the SME Development Centre

Zain Bahrain, the most innovative operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has inked a partnership with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in a move that will allow the Chamber’s members to benefit from a range of exclusive services and offers.

Zain Bahrain’s entry to the strategic partnership will introduce services aimed at supporting existing and start-up companies with a keen focus on Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Zain Bahrain will introduce mobile, broadband and enterprise services aimed at supporting existing and start-up companies. The operator will be offering smartphones along with tailor-made packages including packages with data and unlimited “Zain to Zain” calls or packages with substantial minutes to meet business needs. Other services include high-speed internet on LTE or Myfi or unique bundling options of mobile and broadband.

The exclusive services will be offered through BCCI’s SME Development Centre. The facility is a distinctive opportunity for SMEs and provides a number of facilities including an ongoing training and development calendar, counseling, financial linkages and project set-ups. Existing enterprises can also benefit from technology sourcing, franchising or quality management services.

Our partnership with the BCCI will allow us to provide a wide range of services for members including exclusive offers on broadband and voice services along with sophisticated services such as PBX, Co-location services and Mobile Money,” he said.

“We will be looking at this partnership as a consulting role where a team from Zain Bahrain will be running a series of awareness and informative session discussing ICT landscape and latest technologies. Such sessions will allow members to understand their needs and how to use telecom as a service that can propel their business,” he added.

In this regard, Bahrain Chamber commended its partnership with Zain, and believes that such strategic partnership will bear fruitful for both parties.   It also expressed its desire to further bolster its co-operation with Zain and liaise between them.
