Zain Bahrain notify their customers on the new extended SIM cards registration date implementation by TRA

Zain Bahrain, a leading telecoms operator in the Kingdom announced a three months new extended deadline for registering all post-paid sim cards customers based on the telecommunication regulatory authority (TRA) announcement; to enable all customers who have not registered their SIMS to do so.

Zain Bahrain customers can now register their post-paid Zain line through the newly-implemented Sim-Card fingerprint registration prior to the new extended deadline which falls on September 2nd, 2018. Failing to register within the specified period will result in suspension of the service on a temporary basis, failing to register again during the suspension period will result in final deactivation by December 2nd, 2018. This initiative is part of TRA on-ongoing efforts to protect and safeguard customers from fraud and identity theft.

The registration can be done at any of Zain Bahrain stores or through Zain Bahrain express delivery service which can be done by visiting the E-shop portal on www.eshop.bh.zain and placing an order where a trained representative from Zain Bahrain will arrive to complete the required service at your convenience. Zain Bahrain customers will have to carry their Bahraini CPR or a valid GCC national identity card or Passport to undergo the new registration prior to the new extended deadline.
