UAE Eyes Young Start-Ups

An annual event called Arab Youth Startup Marketplace’ (AYSM) will take place in October.

Under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, it aims to encourage the entrepreneur spirit among young entrepreneurs and investors from across the Arab world.

During the event, the startups will have the opportunity to participate in different workshops, to present their business ideas in front of investors, and to generate deals among various sectors among which ICT, health, education, etc.

Sheikh Mansour said:

“We are immensely proud of the capabilities and energy of Arab youth which considerably contribute to developing a sustainable and renewable economy for the region.”

Sheikh Mansour also added that the creative Arab youth is an indispensable part of the government’s efforts to create a brighter future for the Arab world.
