The Manama Entrepreneurship Week is right around the corner, and Tamkeen just announced its strategic partnership with it

Bahrain Labour Fund Tamkeen has just announced the renewal of its strategic partnership with Manama Entrepreneurship Week for the third year in a row.

The Manama Entrepreneurship Week is organized by the Capital Governorate and will be held from October 28th to 2nd November 2017 with Tamkeen’s support as a strategic partner in order to develop Bahrain’s workforce’s skills in the field of entrepreneurship and become important players in boosting the private sector of Bahrain.

Tamkeen’s Chief Executive, Dr. Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi said: “We are keen on fostering creativity and innovation in the young generation offering them great opportunity to take on the path of entrepreneurship as an alternative career path to employment. Therefore, Tamkeen continues supporting initiatives that aim at achieving prosperity for the national economy and enhancing the role of the private sector to enable it to become its main economic driver.”

Dr. Janahi also talked more about the Manama Entrepreneurship Week stating that it “provides a useful insight on the opportunities and challenges associated with entrepreneurship and it offers experience-based tips on how to transform innovative ideas into business.”

The third edition of Manama Entrepreneurship Week expects more than 5,000 attendees this year. The event will be featuring around 14 sub-events that will include 30 international and regional speakers.
