Tamkeen Opens A One-Stop Shop in Riffa

Tamkeen Acting Chief Executive and Board Chairman HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa officially inaugurated Tamkeen’s Customer Service Centre at Enma Mall on Wednesday, 13th August 2014. The executive team, Board members, as well as a number of officials and media representatives, also attended the opening.

The opening of the Customer Service Centre comes as part of Tamkeen’s efforts to enhance channels of direct communication with beneficiaries and improve services, especially in light of the increasing interest in the support programmes that Tamkeen offers from Bahrainis and enterprises in Bahrain.

Tamkeen aims through the expansion of the service & call centres & community outreach programmes to accommodate more than 90,000  application next year of which approximately 40,000 will be walk-ins at our service centres.

Commenting on the opening of the centre, HE Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa said: “Tamkeen’s efforts to provide consistent services to businesses and citizens in Bahrain is one of the main aims and pillars that Tamkeen operates on. As a strong partner of the private sector, Tamkeen works to support the national economic strategy by investing in initiatives that boost the national economy with a focus on achieving long-term sustainable results. This is part of the plans by Tamkeen’s Customer Engagement and Support to establish similar centres across the country’s governorates.”

The opening of these shops comes in line with Tamkeen’s drive to enhance quality, be more customer-oriented, and achieving better result. This in addition to coping with the changes in the labour market and satisfy the requirements of the private sector.

The fully-equipped centre will serve as a one-stop-shop where all customer needs will be met, and make the entire process smoother and easier to access by people all over Bahrain. The new facility has been fully equipped and designed to ensure the provision of high quality services. The extensively trained staff will be available to handle all customer needs, including programme information, registration processes, eligibility criteria, and the required documentation, as well as guiding customers to the programmes that best serve their interest and objectives.

Regular working hours at Tamkeen’s new customer service centre will be from 8.00 am to 4:00 pm.
