Tamkeen in partnership with Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) and FinMark Communications will be hosting a mentorship and networking event to shed light on the significance of mentorship and its benefits in developing next generation young Bahraini entrepreneurs and business leaders.
The event will be taking place on September 5th, 2018, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Gallery 21 and will focus on the importance, and the beneficial impact mentoring has for both young male and female Bahrainis as they look to progress into leadership positions. There will also be a panel discussion taking place which will address the topic of mentorship. Panelists include:
- Dawood Al Ashhab, Head of Human Resources and General Services at BisB – an active member and mentor of the Steering Committee of the Women’s Professional Leadership Initiative (WPLI).
- Dana Buheji, Chief Human Resources Officer at NBB and as well as a Steering Committee member of WPLI
- A Board Member from Reach – the first non-profit organisation in the Middle East dedicated to the mentorship of women professionals
- A representative from Tamkeen’s newly launched Career Mentorship Program.
The panel will be moderated by Zahraa Taher a Managing Director at FinMark Communications. “We are delighted to partner with Tamkeen to hold this event. Its purpose is twofold with the aim to highlight the importance of professional mentorship to the development of the next generation of business leaders and to ensure they are acquainted with some of the leading local and regional mentorship schemes that are available to support them,” commented Zahraa on the upcoming event
