Swift to Grant $227,155 to FinTech Companies From All Around the World! Find out how!

Swift, a Belgium-based global provider of secure financial messaging services will be providing a fund of up to $227,155 to FinTech companies around the world that can develop new overlay services that’s going to leverage their global payments innovation (gpi) platform.

According to a statement by the company, the two winning FinTech finalists will be collaborating with banks to come up with innovative concepts that will solve the challenges of Swift.

Additionally, the gpi Industry Challenge is open to all countries, and also includes the Middle East and North Africa. Services that FinTech companies can work on can be about enhanced invoice presentment and reconciliation to facilitate financial supply chains, exchange of supply chain documentation to improve global trade, exchange and interactive inquiry of account and processing conditions to improve end-to-end straight through processing and more.

Five FinTech companies will be invited to the gpi Industry Challenge workshop in Singapore on September 13 and 14, and they’ll be receiving coaching from FinTech experts and be in direct contact with 30 gpi member. Two winners will be selected and granted $113,632 to implement their concept over three months with banks and Swift.
