Standard Chartered Bank announces the third edition of SC Women in Tech Program 

Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) prepares to conduct the third cohort of Women in Tech Incubation Program, held under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain, in partnership with Bahrain FinTech Bay and the Supreme Council for Women

The program aims to support women-led SMEs and entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of Bahrain by promoting women entrepreneurs’ economic and social development through tech-focused entrepreneurship. This year’s cohort focuses on developing innovative solutions that support business continuity, community, and sustainability.

The startups can select their main theme that focuses on their solution and further integrate SDGs, defined by the UN as part of their strategy to scale further and grow their solution. The eligibility criteria consist of the following:

  • Female-led startup or female co-founder 
  • Bahraini citizen or resident 
  • Established startup operational for one year or more 

And of course, there’s no forgetting the prizes that come with it! First place winners will receive $30,000, second place winners will receive $20,000, and third place winners will receive $10,000. Each winner will also experience 3 months of incubation at Bahrain FinTech Bay to further develop their startups.
