OPCDE 2017: Bringing Cyber Security Experts To Dubai

A cyber security conference called OPCDE 2017  will be held in Dubai on April 26-27, 2017 at the Dubai Future Accelerator office. OPCDE (an acronym for operational code) is going to host global expert speakers that will share their latest research on cyber security. According to OPCDE there’s a “significant shortage of technical talent” in cyber security in the MENA region, thus why they’re hosting this event: in order to transfer the knowledge of cyber security and help in creating a regional technical community.

Some of the topics that are going to be discussed include attacks against digital wallets, supply chain software attacks, Windows OS archaeology and more. Not just that, but the event is also aimed at the youth through hosting the UAE National Cyber Security Capture The Flag (CTF) cyber security competition. The competition features challenges in various categories such as reverse engineering, web security, digital forensics, and more. Best part of the competition? The prizes! Prizes will include cash and tickets to attend the OPCDE conference.

Are you just as psyched as we are for this event? Cyber security is really important for every startup and every entrepreneur. Without the necessary skills or even knowledge, your efforts can go down the drain. So what are you waiting for? Mark your calendars and attend the OPCDE conference!
