NBB and Rowad just held an informative forum on online banking, here’s what went down

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) held its Business Online Banking Forum for SMEs in cooperation with Rowad as a community partner, on June 25th at the Four Seasons Hotel.

The forum saw a line-up of high-profile speakers that discussed the role of digital payments and FinTech in the country. The forum also marks the bank’s upcoming launch of its new and enhanced business online banking platform.

The forum hosted a panel discussion featuring experts from leading private and public sectors. It was moderated by Areije Al Shakar Senior Vice President at Bahrain Development Bank and Editor-In-Chief of Rowad Magazine, Salman Al Rasheed, head of digital banking at NBB, Maissan Al Maskati, board member of Bahrain Fintech Bay, Dr. Abdulhasan Al Dairi, Chairman of the Bahrain SMEs SocietyEmma Al Mansoori, founder and managing director of Empower Business Solution & Consulting and director of training at the Bahrain Development SMEs Society.

According to a statement made by NBB, the panel was dedicated to helping business owners better understand the vast benefits of digital banking in their drive for greater efficiency and growth and will also feature the experience of a number of existing NBB customers who have already been leveraging the new online banking platform, which is currently in the beta testing phase and will become available to all business customers from 26th June 2018.
