Middle East’s Largest Security Event in Dubai!

Middle East’s largest security event, the fourth Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC), opened yesterday in Dubai with more than 100 exhibitors and technology pioneers showcasing their latest innovations and ideas.

The head of security for the Emirate of Dubai, Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim opened the GISEC event, which is also concurrently running with the Internet of Things Expo (loTx) 2017 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 21 to 23.

The GISEC event attracted major regional and international cybersecurity suppliers, providers and investors with top industry experts, decision makers and business leaders who took this opportunity to discuss the latest online threats, trends and solutions.

Trixie LohMirmand, senior Vice President of the exhibition & events management at DWTC said: “Cybersecurity remains a major concern for economies globally and the UAE, much like the wider region, is no exception.
