Meet the 7 selected startups for BeyondCapital’s Start-up Support Program

BeyondCapital announced the selection of 10 entrepreneurs representing 7 companies to join its Start-up Support Program, where they receive tailored mentorship from top Jordanian mentors, access to markets, access to capital, as well as professional subsidized services.

BeyondCapital’s multi-step selection process shortlists candidates who have the most innovative and high growth potential. Shortlisted candidates are then invited to present at the selection panel. On the 6th of March, BeyondCapital held its 3rd Entrepreneur Selection Panel featuring a group of inspiring entrepreneurs who pitched their startups to top industry experts, who assessed the companies based on their readiness and growth potential and chose which companies are fit to join the program.

The entrepreneurs who were selected are:

  1. Qais Sabri of Eon Aligner which provides an invisible and removable alternative to traditional braces that straightens and aligns teeth.
  2. Mohammed Nasif & Hamed Masri of Robu, a cloud-based financial strategy software for creating flexible, professional-grade financial forecasts
  3. Reem Khouri of Whyise, an  impact analytics solution for organizations to deploy their resources, make decisions based on evidence and exponentially multiply their Impact
  4. Kamel Almani of WashyWash, an eco-friendly, on-demand laundry, and dry clean service app
  5. Dr. Sami Kamal of BioEnergyTech, a health supplements provider with products based on extensive research of natural ingredients
  6. Nadeem and Ramez Srouji of Kips Dehydrated Foods, a manufacturing company specializing in dehydrating kale to produce healthy, all natural snacks
  7. Amina Mango of Amina’s Skin Care, a manufacturing company producing the highest quality organic certified products.  

Following the 3 selection panels that were held, BeyondCapital now supports 30 entrepreneurs from 22 companies in tackling the various challenges faced by fulfilling the gaps hindering their growth. Panelist Nowar Shahrouri, ISSF JO, commented, “Today was yet another display of remarkable Jordanian entrepreneurial talent. All of our efforts are aimed at nurturing this talent and helping it achieve its full potential. I’m happy to know that BeyondCapital will be working closely with these entrepreneurs to address the challenges they face through providing them with access to mentors, networks, or capital

BeyondCapital’s Managing Director Tamer Al-Salah said “BeyondCapital has validated the value of its mission in supporting Start-Ups. We have been witnessing the development of our portfolio companies and are extremely excited to have this incredible batch of companies join the program.”

BeyondCapital is a joint partnership between Endeavor Jordan and Silicon Badia with funding from the USAID, aiming to mature the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem in Jordan by providing comprehensive support to three main beneficiaries: Entrepreneurs, Finance Entrepreneurs and Angel Investors, where the Start-up support program is implemented through utilizing Endeavor’s local network of high-impact entrepreneurs and business leaders.
