Kuwait Finance House just launched a new service that’s going to make your lives a whole-lot easier!

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH), one of the leading Islamic banks just launched its new online bank, Jazeel with the aim of allowing their customers to use KFH’s banking services anywhere and everywhere.

Jazeel, which is translated to “great” in Arabic, is made into a smartphone application where customers can download the app through the Apple Store or Google Play Store and enjoy the services offered by KFH.

Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, the Deputy Head of Retail Banking commented on the launch of Jazeel saying: “It will take customers no more than five minutes to open a bank account from where they are, and the only thing they would require is their smart cards and passports ready with them for verification. Once done, the account details will be provided to them instantly and the best part is that they will not have to visit a branch.”

The app allows customers to open a Mudaraba-based savings account, Libshara account and also grants them access to transactional services. Al Zayani mentions that platform provides a number of specialized custom-made features, which include forensic documents analysis, digital documents scanning such as signature, facial recognition, selfies checks, digital identity and more.

According to Al Zayani, the app is targeted towards customers in Bahrain at the moment, but it will soon be offered in other GCC countries. According to Sabah, penetrating into the GCC market will allow KFH to “grow beyond geographical boundaries”.
