Manama, Bahrain – 04 July 2021: INJAZ Bahrain recently announced the upcoming edition of its annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition, which will see the participation of students from 10 High School and 8 Universities in Bahrain. The event, set to take place virtually over two days from July 7th-8th, 2021, will be held over Zoom, with the concluding award ceremony to be live streamed via INJAZ Bahrain’s YouTube channel.
The event will additionally feature the participation of several high-profile Bahrain-based businesses and entities as sponsors, including Tamkeen, Banagas, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and National Bank of Bahrain (NBB).
Participating student teams from both High School and University levels will be recognized across the eight award categories: Company of the Year 2021 – High School and University, Product of the Year 2021 – High School and University; Best Social Impact 2021 – High School and University; Whereas, Company of the Year winners will qualify to compete at the regional level; with the final two categories, Excellence in Technology sponsored by AWS and Excellence in Digital Marketing sponsored by NBB, being Signature Awards.
Judges for this year will feature Sh. Abdulla Al Khalifa from BANAGAS, Mr. Abdul Nasir from Citi, Mr. Adnan Al Mahmood from GPIC, Mr. Ahmed AlKhenaizi from Tamkeen, Mr. Ahmed Burashid from KHCB, Mr. Hussain Haji from Inagrab, Mr. Mohamed Al Rayes from BBK, Yasser Al Abbasi from GPIC, Mr. Nidal Al Basha from AWS Bahrain, and Mr. Hisham Abu Al Fateh from NBB. INJAZ Bahrain’s Young Entrepreneurs Competition sponsors are Tamkeen Bahrain, Banagas, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and National Bank of Bahrain (NBB).
Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, commented on the success of INJAZ Bahrain’s YEC Forum 2021 saying: “Over the past two years, our students have demonstrated extraordinary strength of spirit, innovative thinking and a determination to succeed in the face of challenges.
