Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has adopted Microsoft’s Azure Cloud solution to improve its online customer-experience.
Country General Manager of Microsoft at Bahrain and Oman, Sherif Tawfik said: “At Microsoft our mission is to help every individual and organization on the planet to achieve more and we are deeply proud to have played a part in Gulf Air’s digital transformation journey.”
According to Dr. Jassim Haji, Director of Information Technology at Gulf Air, the importance of having an online user experience with a superior online presence is what led Gulf Air to adopt Microsoft’s Azure Cloud solution. “With the Azure-based portal, our unique visitor numbers have shot up, while we have reduced our backend operational costs,” he commented.
