Great news for MENA startups, you still have the chance to apply to 500 Startups’ MENA Dojo program!

Silicon Valley-based 500 Startups, the most active early-stage Venture Capital firm in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, has announced that the deadline for submitting applications for its second edition of MENA Dojo Series A Program has been extended to 15th March 2018.  The program aims to support post-seed stage startups to boost their growth to the next level with a 1-to-1 mentor-driven growth hacking program.

All post-seed companies in the MENA region who have reached significant traction and are aiming to raise a Series A within the next 6 to 9 months are eligible to submit their applications online by logging on to www.magnitt.com/500startups-mena-dojo. The selection process for the qualifying shortlisted entries will be conducted by a panel of experienced partners and mentors from 500 Startups on a rolling basis until the start of the program on 1st April.  The selected companies will receive an investment of $150,000 and participate in the 4 weeks intensive growth hacking MENA Dojo Series A Program.

Commenting on the announcement, Hasan Haider, MENA Partner, 500 Startups said: “This is our second edition of MENA Dojo Series A program and we are proud to support the next group of post-seed companies in the region. The first batch benefited significantly from the advice from our global experts, with many of them able to triple their key metrics due to learning from the program. Our strategy at 500 Startups is to help grow the startup ecosystem through knowledge transfer and bringing global best practices to the region.  During the past few weeks, we have received many applications from some truly great startups and I hope to see many more founders take advantage of the extended deadline and submit their entries.  We are eagerly looking forward to an exciting program.”

500 Startups has been active in the MENA region since 2012 and has to-date invested in over 60 startups. Launched in 2017, 500 Falcons, 500 Startups MENA focused fund, plans to invest in approximately 100-150 companies over the next 3 years.
