The Intern Bahrain Program is a youth development internship program created for the Bahraini youth to equip them with the knowledge, experience, guidance, and tools needed to jumpstart their professional career.

The 18 months long program, supported by the United States Embassy in Bahrain through the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) grant, saw in its first cycle spanning from March to June: 22 participants complete a 3 month internship with a number of partnered companies, attend 3 workshops tailored to enhance their technical and soft skills, and participate in 26 coaching sessions to aid in the establishment and achievement of their career plans.

Organized for third and fourth year university students as well as recent graduates, the program garnered over 120 applications from students and graduates that were excited to take part in the first cycle of this program. The program continues to accept applications for its second cycle that will commence this summer.

Over the last three months I gained many skills that will certainly be helpful in my future career. I strongly recommend students and fresh graduates to join this program”.
