The startup VetCode was launched at the beginning of the year by Ahmed AlBadawy and Ahmed Maher. Available through a mobile app, the app has multiple features for pet lovers, including requesting healthcare, adopting, mating, and even training. And if you can’t take your pet to the vet, you can request a veterinarian pass by your house for a check up!
According to VetCode’s CEO, Ahmed ElBadawy, the app is available in 12 cities across Egypt, with more than 200 veterinary clinics within their network. In addition, VetCode is used by over 30,000 users as of yet.
It’s also worth noting that VetCode was amongst the winners of RiseUp Summit pitch competition.
