Travel and hospitality start-ups based in Dubai may now enter the newly-launched competition for funding by Dubai Tourism.
The government initiative, in line with the GITEX Futurists 2017, aims to identify and support the most promising young enterprises in the hospitality sector. Interested parties can submit their applications in one of the two categories: Hospitality Services and The Visitor Experience.
A panel of judges will go through the proposals to access the best ones. The most inspiring 30 applicants will have the chance to present their ideas during the GITEX Technology Week. It takes place 8 – 12 October 2017. At the event, the young entrepreneurs will also meet many corporate buys, over 250 investors, and numerous tourism operators. In the end, the jury will choose only three start ups to receive funding.
