a diverse selection of startups from the United Arab Emirates and Amsterdam held a roundtable session aimed at providing a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration between the two startup communities, according to the Media Office of the Government of Dubai .
The event, a collaboration between the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Startup Amsterdam, allowed startups to pitch to a group of investors, venture capitalists, and tech experts from the UAE and Amsterdam, including the directors of StartupAmsterdam and the Chief Technology Officer of the City of Amsterdam. The session was held as part of an official trade mission to the GCC region led by Amsterdam Deputy Mayor Kajsa Ollongren.
