TripAdvisor and London-based online food delivery platform Deliveroo announced that TripAdvisor users will be able to order from Deliveroo, which is going to feature more than 20,000 restaurants in the travel and restaurant review website.
People looking at a restaurant on TripAdvisor have the option to click “Order Online” which send to Deliveroo’s platform to order food.
Senior Vice President of TripAdvisor Restaurants, Bertrand Jelensperger said in a press release: “As TripAdvisor is already a highly effective marketing platform for restaurants, new offerings like food delivery further increase the value of a restaurant’s listing. “Whether reading reviews, reserving a table through LaFourchette or placing a food order through Deliveroo, our goal is for TripAdvisor to serve as a one-stop-shop for diners around the world.”
The new service is going to be available in 12 countries where Deliveroo operates including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East – UAE where it’s the only country to receive the feature.
