Beban, Bahrain’s first entrepreneurship-themed reality show produced by Hope Ventures, is preparing to commence its bootcamp for its second season upon its announcement of the acceptance of 100 promising entrepreneurs out of over 200 applicants, in partnership with international venture capital startup accelerator Brinc MENA.
The bootcamp is set to kickstart in early June, where shortlisted entrepreneurs will undergo an initial two-week training period under the guidance of Brinc and with the support of the Hope Ventures team overseeing Beban. Out of the 100, 50 entrepreneurs will be selected to proceed to the second phase of the bootcamp, which will take place over a month and a half.
Upon completing the bootcamp period, 50 entrepreneurs will be selected to pitch their businesses to a panel of regional investors through the second season of Beban that’s set to air during Q4 of this year.
Commenting on the partnership, Fajer Al-Pachachi, General Manager of Hope Ventures, shared: “We’re excited to partner with Brinc MENA to launch the bootcamp for Beban Season 2. Through the bootcamp, shortlisted entrepreneurs will be equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to enhance their business models, access expert advice and ensure they are ready to pitch to a panel of investors.'”
