Bahrain Polytechnic and Silah Gulf signed a memorandum of understanding at the Polytechnic campus, to provide their students with the opportunity of enhancing their practical skills in a real business environment.
Silah Gulf will be offering students internships, work placements, cooperative projects, on the job training, part time and summer jobs in order to build their CVs. They will also facilitate industrial visits, and provide guest speakers to Polytechnic students so that they can share their knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Jeff Zabudsky, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic said: “We want our students to gain experience in a real company during their studies, ensuring that they are work-ready upon graduation. We hope that this collaboration with Silah Gulf will provide our students with new opportunities which meet the needs of the labor market.”
