Attention! Nestle wants YOUth!

Are you a student or a recent graduate that needs some action in their life? Or maybe you want to learn and build your skills? Well, you’re in luck because Nestle is keen to help you develop your skills, find a job and encourage entrepreneurship. That’s why in 2017, Nestle came up with the ‘Nestle needs YOUth’ initiative.

The ‘Nestle needs YOUth’ has already impacted more than 4,700 people in 2017, and aims to support at least 10 million young people worldwide access economic opportunities by 2030. Nestle has released a series of projects to help the youth, some of which include:

  • The Nestle Center of Excellence: An academy that trains university graduates in Saudi Arabia and Oman.
  • The Graduate Development Program: A rational development program that lasts for three years and aims to recruit graduates from universities within the region in fields of human resources, sales, marketing, supply chain, technical, and finance and control.
  • Career Advising: In conjunction with universities across the region, Nestle offers expert advice to students in areas such as business and corporate environment, employability, and leadership.

Nestle is currently focusing on three key areas:

  • Employment and employability: Nestle provides apprenticeships and several training opportunities to help you get your feet off the ground.
  • Agripreneurship: Train and inspire the next generation and gift them with the skills and entrepreneurial spirit they need to manage farms. If you’ve got an idea, Nestle will be glad to crowdsource you on HENRi@Nestle.
  • Entrepreneurship: Identify and nurture businesses through initiatives such as Nescafe’s ‘My Own Business’ and Social Investment Accelerator.

So, if you’re in a slump and need that extra push, don’t worry, Nestle is here to invest and help all you young folk out.
