Are You The Next THINK Startup?

The Sweden-based early-stage startup accelerator has invited applicants from all over the globe to submit applications for funding.

The most promising candidates will join the three-month mentorship program in Helsingborg, near Malmö. Next to the tailor-made coaching, free office space, access to business angels, the young entrepreneurs will also receive services worth USD 300 000, from IBM, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and more.

The candidates may choose one of the two THINK tracks to apply for. THINK Accelerate is meant for early-stage tech startups with a focus on software as a service, fintech, eSports, virtual reality, and more. THINK Smart is interested in smart city startups which develop solutions to improve the urban environment – smart energy, smart mobility, waste management, etc.

Upon graduation, participants may join the nonprofit Connect’s investment springboard program. One of the 150 investors of the Connect’s network will mentor them for a month.

THINK accelerator program launched in 2012. Since then, it has held five cohorts with participants from all over the world including Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, and much more. The accelerator has assisted the successful launch of 46 companies and funded up to 30 startups. More than half of these startups managed to grow and raise a collective EUR 5.2 million in funding. 85% of these businesses are still alive, said the accelerator.

Alexander Bastien, managing director of THINK, commented:

The success of an accelerator is measured by the success of its startups, we really are proud of what our startups have achieved and are honoured to have been part of their journey.
