TechCrunch’s flagship pitch competition Startup Battlefield is coming this October to Beirut, and you know what that means right? Startups in the MENA region, get your gears – we mean pitches on!
This Startup Battlefield would be the first MENA edition of the worldwide competition that’s held annually.
Furthermore, TechCrunch is partnering up with Facebook to search for the best startups in three new cities: Beirut, São Paulo & Lagos.
TechCrunch will be selected 15 companies from the MENA region to participate at the Startup Battlefield. And you know what’s awesome? They’ll be provided with travel support!
Not only that, but finalists will also receive guidance and mentorship from TechCrunch’s editor to better enhance their pitches. The winner will receive $25,000 in cash AND a trip for two founders for the next TechCrunch Disrupt event where they’ll be able to exhibit their startup for free. If the winner gets qualified, they’ll also have a chance to participate in the global edition of the Startup Battlefield.
