$12.2 million Raised by Adzily, with their Expansion Plans to Saudi

Adzily is the first indoor digital advertising platform in the MENA region, existing in places like cafes, gyms, and restaurants. It was founded just last year in 2018 by Ahmed Ashoor, Mostafa Hendawy, Mostafa Kamshish, and Mohamed Ossman.

They use digital screens to promote advertisements, planting those screens in places where their target audience normally exists in. Not only so, even the displaying time counts in their strategy. Talk about detailing!

Their $12.2 million investment was sourced from Saudi investment company, Private Wealth Investment, as part of their expansion plans to head to Saudi. Adzily has its head in the game, with plans on implementing 5,000 screens around next year when they first expand to Saudi, and then another 5,000 the year after.

Adzily’s artwork currently operates in Cairo, specifically in the following areas Sheikh Zayed City, 6th October City, Zamalek, Mohandseen, Dokki, New Cairo, Rehab, and Heliopolis.

While it’s dominating the Egyptian market, it will face competition in Saudi from major corporations such as Al-Arabiya which has been placing its screens in the country’s largest shopping malls for a long time.

However, Adzily remains focused on its goals and strategically plans to start planting their screens in cafes, restaurants, and gyms. “the places where there’s no competition before we go to malls and place our screens there.” According to Ahmed Ashoor.
