Ahmed Hammad is a corporate lawyer. But his passion was clearly elsewhere.
“It was my dream to become a corporate lawyer but I always felt that I will end up having my own business and doing something that I love,” said Ahmed. “The main reason I came up with the idea of The Gentlemen’s Club is because of my passion for formal suits.”
“I was scared to give life to it because I did not know what to expect. I did not know how the people in Bahrain would react to a new local brand that offers ‘affordable luxury,’” admitted Ahmed. “The biggest challenge for our online business was customer trust.”
This is why Ahmed decided to take his time in introducing each product. “We have to be sure that the products are made of high-quality materials and finishing,” he said.
“What makes us different from the other clothing brands is that our designs and fabrics are unique and chosen carefully. We focus on the little details and have our own patterns and measurements,” explained Ahmed. “Our products are hand-finished and the designs have limited quantities.
