Sinan Khatib and Wejdan Ismail have built several fresh fast food concepts across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Their latest creation Sandwich Guys, has now opened in Juffair and soon to be in Busaiteen right next to their sister companies Burrito Loco and Noodle Wok.
“Sandwich Guys is the most indulgent of our three brands with hits such as the fried mac n cheese, and the jerk chicken with fried plantains,” said Sinan. “We really enjoyed creating this brand because there was so much room for innovation and developing unusual combinations. We don’t really see any limit to the variations of sandwiches we can invent!”
“We want to capitalize on Bahrain’s thirst for fresh food concepts,” he said. “Our hope is to produce food quality you might find at a pricey dining restaurant but sell it at fast food prices. We believe the power of our team’s creativity will keep us one step ahead.”
“Our companies are growing really fast and it’s a challenge to build the correct systems to properly scale these businesses,” Sinan explained. “I think being organized allows us to minimize things falling through the cracks. Also, we push our teams to regularly try new things. We prefer to make many little mistakes we can learn from than a few big mistakes we can’t recover from. Great businesses need to always be a work in progress.”
