Abdulrahman Mohamed Rafea, 17, is the Founding Member & Vice President of Production of award-winning Roshena, the brainchild of InJaz Bahrain’s “Company Program”. Through extensive market-research, Roshena’s 13 business-minded students have pioneered in a niche of customizable organizers.
Being at the core of Roshena, Abdulrahman’s role spans all operational efforts of Roshena. From Procurement & Supply Chain Management, to Production, and Quality Controls.
Roshena’s value-adding element is its’ unique customizability. The concept of Roshena is to allow its’ customers to select any image of their likings. Perhaps, this makes Roshena’s product unique by adding sentimental value to the owning customers.
Having fulfilled vast orders; Abdulrahman have satisfied the requirements of various customers who would request the customizable boards with a picture of their child or their wedding, flooding their memory with happy moments every time they look at the board. As a marketing strategy, we, as Team Roshena believe that appealing customers’ to cherish their memories makes them become repeat customers, by pushing customers to purchase more boards to hang all over their house and enjoy remembrance of great memories.
Following Roshena’s successful stint; Abdulrahman is now determined to develop his own entrepreneurial spirit, having developed basic business acumen through Roshena. He has undertaken financial risks through investing his own savings into Roshena’s initial capital, as well as the time and efforts he dedicated to push Roshena’s success to the next level.
“In today’s technology-driven era of Internet of Things (IoT) and 3D printing, being a tech-savvy; I am a very ambitious person, willing to pioneer into development of sophisticated technologies” said Abdulrahman, who is due to continue his higher education abroad.
“Having enjoyed my involvements in Bahrain’s entrepreneurial community; I see great potential for start-ups to grow and prosper within our business-friendly ecosystem” added Abdulrahman.
They say; Apple does not fall far away from the tree! Abdulrahman belongs to a very successful family. His father, Engineer / Mohamed Mustafa Rafea, is Group Chief Executive of award-winning Midal Cables Ltd. His mother, Dr. Taghreed Omran Ajoor, is a specialized Dentist.
