Who would have thought that Hussain Haji would come up with an innovative mobile app called Pikadot while browsing through SnapChat stories?

“The purpose of Pikadot is to provide a platform where users can do many things without changing pages or applications,” Hussain explained. “You can chat, audio call, video call, order food and even order groceries!”

The road to turn Pikadot into a reality was not easy – especially when it came to financial resources. But thanks to an approval from Tamkeen, the project is now in full force.

“I believe Bahrain has huge potential – especially in mobile applications. We just have to go beyond Bahrain as our target market. We need to start thinking: where can my application make a difference other than Bahrain?”
