Klickmall is an e-commerce platform that enables Bahraini businesses – enterprises or individuals – to create their own virtual e-store, to sell their products or/and display their services online. Klickmall was initiated by Bahraini entrepreneurs who were passionate about exploiting the revolutionary market trend toward online commercializing and trade. Abdulla Alhaddad, the co-founder, is a Business Information System graduate who believes that Klickmall can boost the economy of Bahrain. All types of businesses are welcomed.
“It is basically an online market place, where individuals can find what they need in one place – a one-stop shop. The project will kick-off with four major sections: Products, Services, Advertisements and Offers”, says Abdulla. He also adds: “It is available on the web, iOS and Android. The idea is to reach as many online customers as possible”.
According to Abdulla, “Businesses can join Klickmall through registering online at Klickmall website, the process is very simple. Klickmall administrators approve the e-store, then businesses can add their products directly on the platform”.
The market research reveals that people are heading towards online shopping because it is more convenient. We expect that retails will get in line with the trend to maximize their profit.
